This site rebuilds on purpose. The identity stays locked, the mask, the waveform, the palette hues and the voice. The structure has to change every time, and a rebuild that keeps the same shape has failed. Seven builds are preserved now, newest first, each one a link you can open exactly as it shipped.

v0072026-08-29

Total rebuild, from zero. The previous six builds were the same document restyled, so this one throws the document out. New stylesheet and new templates written from scratch, no inheritance from any earlier skin. The horizontal nav bar is gone, replaced by a full screen overlay menu. The card grid is gone, replaced by asymmetric editorial composition. Display type is the artwork now, set genuinely large. The KC mask is a persistent WebGL presence that moves with the scroll instead of a hero that scrolls away, and the whole home page reads as a guided descent. Same locked colors, same waveform, same voice. It should not look like anything built here before.

  • CompositionAsymmetric, full bleed, huge display type up to sixteen viewport widths, one idea per screen with deliberately varied pacing.
  • NavigationFull screen overlay menu as a designed moment, plus the command palette. The version switcher moved off the top into the footer and the menu.
  • SceneThe WebGL mask persists behind everything and evolves as you scroll, cyan rim light, emissive crimson mouth on the live wave math.
  • From zeroA new hand written stylesheet, not a layer on top of the old one. Content and identity carried over, every structural decision made fresh.
  • KeptLocked palette with no new base hue, the alive waveform, self hosted everything, zero external resource loads.
v0062026-08-29

Full cyberpunk, first WebGL pass. The mask became a real 3D object with a cyan rim light and an emissive waveform mouth, and neon glow arrived, all derived from the locked colors. Honest verdict: it was still the v005 document with a cyberpunk skin bolted on, so it read as the same site dressed up. That lesson is what produced v007. Preserved here at /v006 exactly as it shipped.

  • AddedThe first WebGL hero, command palette, and a colophon.
  • LessonA restyled document is still a document. A new coat of paint is not a new building.
v0052026-08-21

The modern leap. A real modern typeface took over the headlines and body copy, the mono dropped to an accent layer, and flat rows became designed panels with depth. Preserved here at /v005.

  • TypeSpace Grotesk display, Inter body, both self hosted. Mono demoted to an accent.
v0042026-08-18

Instrument panel, alive and reactive. The waveform became an instrument that responds, publishing a live amplitude every frame. Preserved here at /v004.

  • ShapeInstrument panel home, status bar chrome, live readouts.
v0032026-08-05

Color arrives. The four section colors moved from hairlines to structure, and the home became a signal board of full width channel bands. Preserved here at /v003.

  • AddedStructural color and the three way version switcher.
v0022026-07-29

One generation up. Flat rows gained depth, the header waveform became a live travelling wave, and the field logs split into a Story register over a Build register. Preserved here at /v002.

  • AddedThe persistent version switcher.
v0012026-07-23

Terminal ledger. The original build, one mono face on a flat dark ground, content stacked as ledger rows. Frozen here at /v001, which is the point of keeping it.

  • KeptThe locked token layer every build since has inherited unchanged.
