A small arcade that costs nothing and tracks nobody at all. Three games, playable straight in your browser, with no account, no app to install and no coin slot.
It runs off the same little computer in a spare room that serves this website.
The three games
- KC Invaders. Shoot the things this whole site is about escaping. Adverts, paywalls, subscriptions.
- KC Asteroids. Drift through a field of rocks with nothing but momentum and nerve.
- Rootkit. Tunnel down through a decaying filing system and deal with what you find.
Clear a wave and you can put your initials on a public scoreboard, shared with everyone else who plays.
A game does not need a plain English version. The words on this page do.
The arcade itself lives on the arcade page on the full site. It works exactly the same way whichever edition you came from.
What it does not do
It does not ask for your name, your email address or an account. It does not follow you anywhere. The only thing it stores is the initials you choose to put on the scoreboard, and that is entirely your decision.
It is free because it costs almost nothing to run, and because an arcade that wanted your details would rather defeat the point of this site.
