Trusting the Crew Is Harder Than Building It
The agents sat idle while the work got done by hand. That was the problem. A whole fleet of capable machines, built to handle specific tasks, and yet every job still got shoved through the same two pairs of hands. It wasn’t just inefficient,it was fucking stupid.
So the rule got made: use them. Even if it meant babysitting. Even if it was slower at first. Because the only way the agents get better is by doing the work they were built to do.
Turns out, building the crew is the easy part. Trusting them is where the real work begins. You have to let them fumble. You have to watch them take three times as long as you would, resist the urge to snatch the task back, and accept that conducting is a different skill than doing. The payoff isn’t immediate, but it’s the only way the system grows.
